Co-operative Bank enlist theEword for SEO improvements: Content marketing and SEO (search engine optimisation) at the Co-operative Bank has been charged to theEword for 2015.
theEword’s aim will be to increase the Co-operative Bank’s online brand awareness. However, they will also be supporting the northern bank with some other tasks – namely the promotion of loan, credit card, and current account sales.
theEword aims to “deliver information that helps customers to make educated financial decisions”, and will develop the Bank’s content market strategy using data and insight.
The business development director at theEword, Kleon West, said: “Our aim is to turn The Co-operative Bank website into one of the most useful, resourceful and engaging platforms for customer banking.”
theEword has recently been awarded contracts from the likes of Merlin Entertainments and TJ Hughes.
The digital performance lead at the Co-operative Bank, Martin Sheerin, added: “We are looking forward to working with theEword, which has demonstrated a flair for creativity and an understanding of our business that fully supports our ethical values and desire to ensure customers are always at the centre of our organisation.
