Stockport Homes shortlisted in NFA Awards

Stockport Homes shortlisted in NFA Awards: Stockport Homes has been named as a finalist in four categories at the National Federation Awards (NFA). The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester, on Wednesday July 15 2015.

Stockport Homes has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Creating greener homes and reducing fuel poverty, through an innovative approach to reducing energy bills
  • Improving the private rented sector offering, with a Social Lettings scheme
  • Tackling worklessness and improving social enterprise, through a partnership with local enterprise B4Box
  • Helping to manage the impact of welfare reform, for an approach to helping tenants with Universal Credit, money advice and water collection rates.

Roger Phillips, chair of the Stockport Homes board, said, “It is a fantastic achievement to be shortlisted in four categories at this year’s NFA Awards. The award shortlisting in each category reflects the work we do to help transform the lives of our customers and recognises the hard work of all our staff.”
