Calling all young filmmakers: Submissions are now open for the first I.MAKE.FILM Festival.
I.MAKE.FILM is a young people’s film festival dedicated to showcasing the wealth of local filmmaking talent, from across Calderdale and further. The one day event will be packed with short film screenings, master classes and talks.
It is an exciting opportunity for up-and-coming directors, actors and writers to see their work on the big screen, in front of an audience of friends, family, film-making professionals and other young film enthusiasts.
We could find the next Spielberg or Kubrick right here on our doorstep.
The festival will take place on Sunday 19th June at Orangebox young people’s centre, in Halifax.
Are you a filmmaker? Are you aged between12-24yrs?
Do you have a short film you want to share? Then I.MAKE.FILM wants to hear from you!
“Calderdale has lots of fantastic organisations and people working in film and television. The aim of I.MAKE.FILM is to bring these people together, to share expertise and experience with young aspiring filmmakers. ” – Kane Rattray (Arts Outreach Officer)
For information on how to apply to I.MAKE.FILM email email@example.com or call the Square Chapel Box Office on 01422 349422.
