New Affordable Homes for Stockport:  More than 100 new homes and flats will be built in Stockport after contracts have been signed between Stockport Homes and Construction Partnership UK Ltd.

As a result of partnership working between Lane End Developments and Stockport Homes the 113 new houses and flats will be built in the Heaviley area of the town.

Mark Hudson, Director of Technical and Commercial Services at Stockport Homes said “We’re thrilled to be working with Lane End Developments and CPUK limited on this project as it will deliver new affordable housing to Stockport. These properties will deliver much needed, good quality housing to the town.”

Of the 113 new properties, 57 will be built for affordable rent and 56 homes will be for sale on a shared ownership basis.

The scheme has been funded after securing capital grant from the Homes and Communities agency.

The development will be completed in phases with the first completions due in October 2016.
